It’s unbelievable even if it’s a few days that I came back home from Hong Kong!

After three bronze and one silver medal, we finally got the gold one at the last World Cup in the team pursuit!

The race went well since the start, where me, Martina Alzini, Marta Cavalli and Letizia Paternoster did a great time: 4’21”339. Than we won the semifinal against the Australian National Team and this meant for us the access at the final and the NEW ITALIAN RECORD: 4’17”438! It has been fantastic! We always try to go over our limits and this record give us the strength and determination to improve every single time. The gold medal has been the perfect end of a perfect race, it was my first victory in a World Cup and it was difficult to stay calm on the podium! With this victory the Italian Team won the general classification of the team pursuit’s World Cup!

My trip didn’t end like this, I also won a bronze medal in the madison with Maria Giulia Confalonieri. The race started in a strange way because of a mechanical accident, but at the end we caught up and could achieve this great result! Getting on the podium with a friend has no price!

With Hong Kong the World Cups are over, if I watch back I can only be satisfied.

Now starts the preparation for the World Championship and I’m really motivated and determinate!

Stay tuned!
