Finally it’s race time again!

I can’t belive that I’m really writing this words, after ten months without any road competitions on Friday I picked up the number again! What a sensation!

At the start in Pamplona

Our first race was in Spain, Friday 24th we raced in Pamplona and today in Durango. Both of them were hard and not my kind of races, anyhow it has been beautiful being back in the bunch.

Between the climb and the wind of Navarra

On Friday’s menu we had to do seven steep, but short, hills (the longest was 2,5km long). My sensations were good and I could always stay in the first group behind the two breackers Van Vleuten and Longoborghini. We were more or less twenty riders fighting for the third place, unfortunatly I started the sprint too early and Confalonieri beat me at the photofinishxs…When I saw the finish line after so many months the adrenalin took it all and I miscalculated the distances!!! It could have been a good opportunity to go in the podium, but I wont let sleap the next chance!

Best Under 23 rider in Friday’s race

On today’s circuit there were two climbs at the end, so the climbers made the race.

I’m happy because all the works and trainings that I did during quarantine were worth it, now I only have to get used again to the race rythm.

I can say that I’m satisfied with my start of this strange season, but is a great achievement that it finally started and beeing back with my teammates!
