After Pordenone and Giro dell’Emilia is time for European Championship

The start of the season continued with both track and road races!

I participated in the three UCI track races scheduled at the Pordenone velodrome: elimination, points race and madison. I am very satisfied because I took home two victories, one in the elimination and the second in the madison paired with Vittoria Guazzini! It was the first time we competed together and it was a lot of fun and for me also different from the usual, in fact she is an excellent time trial and so we decided to do an attacking race managing to take a lap of advantage. Usually I use my fast qualities to concentrate on the sprints, but I think this new experience has been very useful for the future!

The season continued with a road race: the Giro dell’Emilia, a race that became a symbol in cycling due to its arrival on the very hard wall of San Luca. Certainly not my kind of race expecially because of the last two hard and steep kilometers, but I still tried to give it all and to find the right cadence to climb the wall. I took home a good fifteenth place and a bit of race rhythm in my legs for the next races!

Yesterday I arrived in Plouay, Brittany, for the European road championships, I will take part in the road race of the Under 23 category. I am very happy for this call because, as this is going to be my last year in this category, I want to make the most of the opportunity that was offered to me!
