Hi everyone!

My 2021 started with an intense block of training camps: the first with my team Valcar Travel&Service in Puglia, the second with national team in Sicily.

With the national team in Sicily

The preparation is going good, but unfortunately the first races of the calendar have been cancelled. I had to start the season in Spain with the first race the 7th of February followed by the Semana Ciclista Valenciana, but both of them have been rescheduled due to the COVID situation. I should now pick the number the 27th of February in Belgium at the Niewsblad, a little Ronde Van Vlaanderen characterized by the bitter cold.

Lots of you asked for my 2021 calendar, but in this delicate period is difficult to know at which competition I will take part. Anyway the goal is to arrive in a good condition at the Springs Classics (De Panne, Gand, Ronde Van Vlaanderen, Roubaux) and before that I will probably take part at the two Italian World Tour races: Strade Bianche and Trofeo Binda in Cittiglio.

Talking about the track season, my goal/dream is to be selected by the national team for the Olympic Games, this will be my 2021 main target and all the decisions will be taken in relation to it. In addition to that, the national team will take part at the first two World Cups: Great Britain and Hong Kong.

This is the provisional schedule of the season, in the hope that the health emergency will improve and that we can soon return to normal life.

As many of you had problems on finding this year’s Women calendar, I leave you the link for the updated UCI calendar.

Waiting to be able to return in the peloton I continue to dedicate myself to my training both on the road, in the gym and going twice a week on the track in Montichiari with my teammates of the national team. I’m allso trying to take advantage of this period without competitions to take some university exams.

I’m pretty sure it won’t be an easy year and I want to be ready for all the occasions that will come to me.

I’ll keep you updated!
